Brandywine Global Expands Global Fixed Income Team, Adds Seasoned Talent to Support Growth
Brandywine Global Investment Management, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Legg Mason, Inc. (NYSE: LM), announced today that it has added three professionals to the firm's Global Fixed Income Team, expanding an already robust group of world-class asset management professionals. The firm continues to strengthen its fundamental research capabilities and develop its talent base to prepare for future growth and continuity. The new hires include a portfolio manager and two analysts.

In hiring early and allowing professionals to meld into the team, we put time on our side." The firm welcomed Anujeet Sareen, CFA, as a Portfolio Manager on the Global Fixed Income Team. Prior to joining the firm, Anujeet served as Managing Director of Global Fixed Income and as a Global Macro Strategist at Wellington Management Company. Anujeet brings over 20 years of relevant experience to Brandywine Global and is a graduate of Brown University.
The two new analysts joining the team are Alberto Boquin, CFA and Dorothee Rainis. Alberto brings over 10 years of experience to the Global Fixed Income Team as a Research Analyst. Most recently, Alberto was with JP Morgan Asset Management where he served as Vice President of Global Macro Strategy, Fixed Income and Currencies. Alberto earned his B.A. in Ethics from Yale University and is FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
Dorothee, also a research analyst on the Global Fixed Income Team, has three advanced degrees in finance and speaks four languages. Most recently, Dorothee worked for ADA Investments. Before that, she spent seven years working as an analyst in Zurich, Switzerland. She received her M.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Tuebingen (Germany), a master's degree in Corporate Finance from SDA Bocconi (Italy), and an MBA with a major in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
