Global Alternative Credit is a flexible high yield strategy that targets what we believe to be the best opportunities for total return while also aiming to protect principal and seeking a high income level. Our approach to achieving these goals is to tactically allocate across higher yielding fixed income sectors globally that offer what the Global Credit team believes to be the most attractive combination of value and durable fundamentals. Active macroeconomic themes of the Global Fixed Income team guide the strategy's beta-hedging program and provide key inputs for the strategy's top-down valuation framework. The Global Credit team adds rigorous bottom-up, proprietary credit research, and makes all final investment decisions.
