John P. Nelson
John leads Brandywine Global’s Institutional Sales and Relationship Management teams in the U.S. In addition, he is responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with many of the firm’s largest institutional clients. John joined the firm in June 2013 and is a member of the firm’s Global Management Committee. Previously, he spent 27 years at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York where he was Managing Director and Head of Institutional Relationship Management and Business Development. John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint Vincent College and completed the CFA Institute’s Investment Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2006.

As an institutional marketing professional, Ryan is responsible for direct sales to institutional investors in the western United States. He joined the Firm in October 2011. From 2016– 2021, Ryan worked at Brandywine Global Investment Management (Europe) Limited, the Firm's operating unit located in London, England, where he was responsible for maintaining and enhancing our relationships with clients and consultants based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Brandywine Global, Ryan held multiple positions with The Concord Advisory Group, LTD. Princeton, N.J. (February 2008 – September 2011). Ryan earned a B.A. degree in both Economics and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a CAIA charter holder in addition to holding the U.K. Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

As a Senior Vice President, Jon is primarily responsible for heading the firm’s U.S. Consultant Relations business, and maintaining and developing relationships with institutional clients. Prior to joining Brandywine Global in 2013, Jon spent seven years with Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he held several positions including vice president of institutional sales. He is a CAIA charter holder and earned a B.S. in Economics and Management from Gettysburg College. He also holds FINRA Series 7, Series 3, and Series 66 licenses.

He joined Brandywine Global in 2014 and has served in a variety of roles on the U.S. Sales & Relationship Management team. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, is a CFA® charterholder, and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Philadelphia. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Joseph Larkin
As Director of Client Service and Sales Support, Joe is responsible for overseeing the Client Service and Sales Support teams as well as firm-wide client service initiatives. Joe previously held roles as Director of Business Development and Client Service in Brandywine Global's Singapore office and Associate Director of Business Development and Client Service in Brandywine Global’s London office. Joe joined the Firm in June 2009. Prior to joining Brandywine Global, Joe was a Financial Analyst with the Private Wealth Management Group at Goldman Sachs & Co. (2007-2009) and a Research Analyst with the Intellectual Capital Group at Legg Mason (2005-2007). Joe holds the U.K. Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and FINRA Series 3, 7, 24, and 66 licenses. Joe earned a B.A. in History from James Madison University.

Prior to joining Brandywine Global, Liz held positions in product development, marketing and sales, and trading with investment management firms including Driehaus Capital Management, LLC and Philadelphia International Advisors, L.P. She holds FINRA Series 7, 3, and 63 licenses, is a CFA® charterholder, and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Philadelphia. Liz earned a B.A. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew P. Bauer, CFA
Andy is responsible for establishing, enhancing and supporting relationships with financial intermediaries, advisors, and North American retail and institutional clients and prospects. Andy is a global fixed income and equity generalist, responsible for articulating to clients and prospects the firm’s investment philosophy, process, positioning and macro outlook. He joined the Firm in December 2011 and has over 15 years of investment and marketing experience. Previously, Andy was a director and principal with Turner Investments responsible for institutional relationship management (2008-2011); vice president and portfolio specialist with Legg Mason Institutional Services (2004-2008); research analyst with PFM Advisors (2003-2004); and a research associate with Duncan-Hurst Capital Management (1999-2003). Andy is a CFA® charterholder, holds FINRA Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses and earned an M.S. in Finance from San Diego State University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Mark is primarily responsible for establishing and enhancing relationships with financial intermediaries, advisors and the firm’s distribution partners. Secondarily, he provides support to our consultant relations effort. As a senior investment specialist, Mark is responsible for new business development by articulating to clients and prospects the firm’s investment philosophy, process, positioning and macro outlook across our equity and global fixed income strategies. Prior to joining the Firm in October 2012, Mark worked as an investor relations professional with Attalus Capital (2008-2012); a consultant with Towers Perrin's Asset Consulting Services group (2003-2008), and an associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (2001-2003). Mark is a CAIA charterholder, holds FINRA Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses, and earned a B.A. in Political Science from Bucknell University.
