As Head of U.S. Legal in Brandywine Global's legal department, Evan is responsible for drafting and reviewing investment management agreements, and negotiating client, vendor, consultant and other related agreements. Evan also provides legal advice and support to the firm relating to legal, compliance and regulatory matters. Evan joined the Firm in 2004, bringing with him two years of investment experience and one year of litigation experience. Previously, Evan was with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Kades Financial, where he was responsible for financial planning and quantitative and qualitative analysis for client portfolios (1997-1999). Following his completion of law school, Evan worked for one year at an insurance litigation defense firm before realizing that he wanted to realign his career with the investment industry. Evan earned a juris doctorate from Temple University School of Law and a B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.
